This is the second in a series of Too Good To Leave (TGTL) campaign webinars aimed at Army Reservists. It will provide a briefing with Q&A on the individual and complex issue of Reserve Forces pensions, covering two main topics:

• Reserve Forces eligibility and policy – delivered by the Army Personnel Remuneration Team
• Reserve Forces Individual Pension & Process – delivered by the Forces Pension Society (FPS)

The Remuneration Team will brief on current pension policies that apply to Reserve personnel, with a focus on AFPS15, as well as clarification on the impact of NRA (Service to 60) for Reserve Service soldiers and the Army Reserve Reinforcement Group (ARRG).

The FPS will outline what the process is for an individual to receive their personal pension statement and how to claim your pension on leaving Reserve Service. Depending on the legal appeal, there may also be an opportunity to update on the Milroy case, but initial guidance is available here.
