ABOUT
Join senior leaders and gain insights on the latest developments in AI for Defence and network with representatives from other AI companies and the MOD at DAIC Connect 2027: the industry engagement day hosted in partnership with the Defence AI Centre (DAIC).
The DAIC is UK Defence’s enduring centre for AI delivery, enabling and accelerating safe and responsible AI adoption, whilst operating in an era of accelerating threat, where decision-making speed, operational integration, and adaptability are becoming increasingly decisive. Central to DAIC’s mission is unlocking the power of the Defence AI ecosystem: government, industry and academia, and working with allies to provide strategic advantage.
This, the fourth DAIC Connect, will be the largest yet and will focus on exploring state-of-the-art and new horizons in Defence AI, and on developing valuable connections within the Defence AI ecosystem. The programme will include:
- Keynote addresses by AI leaders from Government and Industry
- Updates from the DAIC and wider MOD
- Joint industry and MOD panel discussions
- DAIC Connect networking drinks and dinner
- Defence AI Awards 2027
Additionally, the day will provide opportunities for companies to meet and brief various MOD teams and industry colleagues, both during the event and at the post-event networking drinks and dinner. There will be a large networking area in which exhibition stands will showcase Defence AI products and services, facilitating discussion with Defence representatives and industry peers during the day.

From a sponsor perspective the location and set up with the stands worked well. We had excellent engagement all through the day, both with various parts of the MOD and the wider ecosystem. It was good that people alternated between the talks and the stands and plenty of time with breaks etc for people to network. -

Congratulations on organising an excellent conference and dinner. One of the best ones of this nature I have attended. -

Attending events such as this one, organised by the Chief Disruptor team in collaboration with the DAIC, is always enlightening as it provides the opportunity for the industry peers to listen to great insight and speeches from distinguished and experienced guests, which this time included Paul Lincoln CB OBE VR, 2nd Second Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Lt Gen Sir Tom Copinger-Symes KCB CBE, Deputy Commander UK Strategic Command; and Charle Forte, Chief Information Officer, MOD. -

First can I say what a great event it was? I have been lucky enough to attend all 3 DAIC Connects and it was the best yet. A great mix of speakers including senior stakeholders and visionaries, a clearly vibrant community who are onside and want to work towards a common goal, and excellent logistics. -
HPE
The evening event provided a fabulous opportunity for us to network with a number of very key and significant MOD stakeholders so many thanks for facilitating that.

Please do pass on my deepest thanks to the team at DAIC and obviously to all the folks at Chief Disruptor that made it such a success, I heard throughout the day that this was becoming the “must attend” event now in the annual circuit.
