OVERVIEW
Adversaries are increasingly using cryptocurrencies to move funds covertly; leaving behind signals that, with the right tools, can be detected, traced, and disrupted.
This webinar will explore how national security threats are evolving on the blockchain; and why defence and intelligence agencies must treat blockchain intelligence as a critical resource to protect UK national security interests.
Designed principally for Defence and national security leaders from the UK and NATO, during this session we will be joined by TRM’s top investigators and blockchain intelligence analysts, with deep experience in cross-border investigations and state-aligned crypto activity. We’ll examine how actors linked to North Korea, Russia, Iran, and China have used cryptocurrencies to:
- Evade sanctions and fund influence operations
- Launder cybercrime proceeds
- Exploit decentralised technologies to obscure financial flows
You’ll gain a practical understanding of blockchain intelligence, including how it complements traditional threat monitoring, and why it matters for today’s defence mission.
