James Freed is the Chief Information Officer for Health Education England. His career has taken him through Cancer Research, Change Management and Standards development. As well as being a CIO, he is currently the Deputy SRO of a Programme responsible for delivering digital readiness to the three million staff in Health and Care in England, commissioned by NHSX.
In 2017 James was voted by peers as one of the top 100 influencers globally in Health IT as part of the #HIT100 twitter campaign. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a CHIME Chartered Health CIO.
Matt is now responsible for driving transformation projects within ITV during a time where the Media & Entertainment industry has faced huge disruption, moving with agility and a focus on customer value are core to his approach. With 15 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, his expertise was founded in the operational support and delivery of mission critical services, serving as a sound base to drive transformation. An advocate for change, from the adoption of new technologies, redesigning working environments to embracing new ways of working, the scope of projects is broad and complex to deliver transformation of this scale.
Steven was appointed Group Chief Digital Officer for Generali in April 2019 and has responsibility for driving Digital Transformation, Data Analytics and Innovation at a global level.
Steven joined Generali from RSA, where he designed and drove the digital transformation agenda across the Group.
From 2015 to 2016 he was Chief Digital Officer at Zurich, driving digital transformation across its UK businesses, with focus on marketing, distribution, sales, underwriting & claims. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2015, he was Chief Digital Officer at Bupa, the international healthcare group, responsible for setting out their transformation ambitions, identifying new digital commercial opportunities, supporting and challenging business performance and establishing a series of centres of excellence to drive best in class customer experiences and business performance.

Eddie is a leading global specialist in growth, expansion, and innovation with a specific focus on transforming businesses and creating new products and services by leveraging data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital capabilities.
At Virgin Media O2, Eddie is accountable for all of the data, and the leader in supporting the end to end business by exploiting that data through advanced analytics for both performance management and revenue improvement.

Alaana Woods has over 12 years’ commercial and operational experience, working for some of the UK’s largest healthcare providers.
As Commercial Director, Alaana is responsible for leading the development of Bupa’s Health Services business which provides health assessments, occupational health and specialist mental health services to both individual and corporate customers. She also advises a number of large multinationals on their wellbeing strategy.
Prior to Bupa, Alaana was Director of Business Development at Nuffield Health, and before that, at BMI Healthcare, where she set-up their international division. Rob is a Principal Architect for Ping Identity in the UK and also the EMEA representative to the Ping Identity CTO Office. Rob has 20 years experience in identity and access management. He has worked on complex implementation projects in the UK, USA, Europe and South Africa. His current area of focus is on applying industry standards like OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 to enable businesses to interoperate and securely expose data and API's. He is specifically focused on using Mobile Applications to deliver elegant Strong Customer Authentication solutions within financial services and other verticals.
Sam Stacey is a construction industry leader and writer on construction innovation. Since 2018 he has been Challenge Director for Construction at UKRI, implementing the Sector Deal for Construction as part of the UK’s 2017 Industrial Strategy. He has an MBA from Henley Business School and degrees in Civil Engineering, Architecture and Philosophy from Imperial College and Cambridge University.
Sam chartered as a structural engineer while working at Buro Happold on the Faisaliyah Center in Riyadh. As Director of Innovation at Skanska UK he was known for promoting Flying Factories. In 2018 Sam joined UKRI as Challenge Director for Construction. The Transforming Construction Challenge, is accelerating construction’s shift towards value-based manufacturing and digital processes. With a budget of £170 million, matched by £250 million from industry, the Transforming Construction Challenge brings together contractors, supply chain, innovators, government, clients and the research community. Sam is a member of the Construction Innovation Hub Board, Active Building Centre Board, Urban Splash Future Lab Board, a Senior Advisor to the Construction Leadership Council and a former trustee of the Building Research Establishment.
With over 13 years of international experience in omnichannel marketing and 360-advertising within the beauty category, Nora has a vast experience managing brand, product, and retail launch campaigns with global reach.
Nora’s experience has been very diverse from blue chip heritage brands such as Unilever Pond’s and Dove to fast-paced high growth start-ups such as Veleza (now backed-up by Loreal’s Founder’s Factory). In her last role, Nora’s leadership in the U.K. market was fundamental in achieving mass brand awareness and business success for global Swedish beauty and wellness tech brand FOREO.

Ben is currently the CTO at Onto (https://on.to), the all-inclusive electric vehicle subscription service. Onto are sustainability changing the concept of car ownership for everyone. Over the last 10 years, Ben has been growing engineering teams across both start-ups and larger enterprises. He has spent time helping Gousto to put in place the foundations for growth as well as spending time leading the engineering teams for Europe on the QuickBooks product at Intuit. Ben is passionate about creating a great place to work for his teams, emphasising a culture of learning and growth, while creating delightful products for customers.
Caroline is the Group Director of R2 Data Labs at Rolls-Royce, where she is charged with developing the strategy and implementation of data innovation technologies and capabilities that lead to new insights, new solutions and new business models. One of the major projects that she has been leading is the Emergent Alliance, a data collaboration group for economic recovery. She previously worked at companies such as Digital Catapult, Telefonica and Forrester Research.
Ananth's current role is Head of Technology at the TUI Group where he is accountable for building a suite of products to deliver flight sourcing capabilities across the TUI Group. Prior to this role, he has held several roles within TUI and been involved in many digital transformation programmes to help make customers smile time after time. As a member of the leadership team, he is accountable for defining and implementing strategic decisions by working closely alongside the senior leadership teams within IT and business.
Ben is currently leading the delivery of easyJet’s Data strategy aimed at realising the company’s ambition of becoming the world’s leading data driven airline. Previously having worked at Royal Mail, Tesco and Unilever, he has over 15 years’ industry experience in solving real-world problem in an industry setting.
More recently, Ben has focussed on building and leading Data Science teams and applying the Lean Start-Up approach to Data Science within large organizations. He is experienced in setting up and managing industrial research collaborations with academic and business partners.
He is also actively engaged with the UK Mathematics community and very enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of Mathematicians and Data Scientists. Ben holds a PhD in Computer Vision and an MSci in Mathematics and Astronomy, both from UCL.
Adi Chhabra has established himself as a successful high-tech entrepreneur since completing his MBA from Lancaster University Management School. After graduating in 2011, he co-founded PollPlug, a digital platform providing polls, surveys, and quizzes to companies backed by advanced big data analytics. In just nine months of full-time operation, PollPlug attracted more than 370 clients, including FTSE 250 companies and Accenture’s French consultancy arm. He is now the founder of The Badass Water Company. Prior to this, Adi spent over eight years at Vodaphone and was formally the Head of Product Innovation.
As Head of Data and Analytics at UKTV, Andy is responsible for all areas of D2C user data including digital analytics, data architecture, data management, data science modelling for advertising, recommendation engines, dashboards and insights. Previous to that, he led teams that analysed data to generate strategic business insights using advanced analytics, at companies like the BBC, Annalect and IMG.
Liz leads product and partnerships for the health Insurance start-up, Lime Insurance. An insurance industry expert, Liz has built a career portfolio focussed on customers with reach across propositions, technology, strategy and consultancy. From Silicon Valley to the City, she has the experience of working alongside some of the most exciting tech startups in the world, taking a lead role developing disruptive, innovative Insurtech solutions. After 15 years working for both the UK's largest Insurer and also one of the most high profile insurance consultancies, she now leads a health insurance technology business with the goal of doing brilliant things for customers and for the industry.
Paul has worked in the travel and tourism sector for the past 16 years, initially with easyJet airlines as their Head of Software Delivery prior to founding the consultancy and development company Unomee, whose clients included Jet2, Etihad Airways, Qantas and Bourne Leisure. At the start of 2019, he joined the new business easyJet Holidays (part of the easyJet Group) as the Technology Director, helping them to set up the business and technology from scratch, with a successful launch in November 2019.
Jon leads the Experian Data Exchange, a global innovation team focused on developing propositions to facilitate access to new and non-traditional data. The team works closely with our regions and businesses to explore how innovative solutions can harness new data assets the deliver benefits to businesses, their customers and society at large.
Jon joined Experian in 2013 to lead strategy for the UK&I Credit Services business. Since 2016, he has been driving the UK-wide strategy including our Open Banking efforts. He has also played a pivotal role in several strategic acquisitions and in leading the implementation of the Innovation Pathways programme across the UK.
Prior to Experian, Jon held a number of senior strategy and strategic change positions in UK financial services companies, with a focus on life, pensions and investments.
Jon has a Master’s in Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Northampton.
Matt co-founded Thursday (Honeypot Dating Ltd) in September 2018 a few weeks before deploying on a tour to Afghanistan. His company closed a pre-seed round of funding in November 2018 and it is now regularly used as an example to other aspiring companies as to how to crowdfund effectively. It released its first product, Honeypot, a dating app to Londoners in the summer of 2019. Through viral PR stunts and guerrilla marketing, the company achieved over 4 million impressions on a marketing budget of less than £500 resulting in over 20, 000 downloads.
In April 2020 the company closed an additional top-up round of funding and is soon to release ‘Thursday’ once social-restrictions are lifted in the New Year in both London and New York.
The app has achieved over 600k downloads, employs a team of 20 and is the first dating app to scale into offline experiences - the ultimate focus of the company.
Prior to this Matt had served for 6 years as a Welsh Guards Officer deploying to Afghanistan, Kenya, Malaysia and New Zealand. Matthew holds a degree in Business and Marketing and a diploma in Leadership and Management.
Tom has a very practical client and colleague background having joined LBG in 2009 as a cashier and quickly progressing to a branch management position. Since then has had a varied career across the organisation in a number of engagement, leadership, culture and innovation roles.
Tom currently leads the Work: Lab at Lloyds Banking group which tests propositions for the future of work. He is passionate about using human innovation and the power of community to shape an inclusive future of work that focuses on creating a culture where everyone can be their best, find work life harmony and thrive at work.
Tom is enthusiastic about helping people find happiness at work and tested “The New Work Manifesto” with his team which featured on the ‘Eat Sleep Work Repeat podcast’.
Alison joined Oxfam GB in January 2020, in what was a new role responsible for driving the implementation of a new strategic vision. The role expanded in October 2020, incorporating the global operations of Oxfam GB and she was appointed Chief Transformation Officer. The purpose of the role remains to facilitate the transformation work needed to achieve the strategy and enable a once-in-a-decade change to the way Oxfam works.
Her skills and experience are in designing and delivering complex transformation for organisations and she has held a number of strategic leadership, programme, project and operational roles for the Cabinet Office, the Open University and DMGT. Having mainly built a career in the public and not-for-profit sector, she has a deep, long-held belief in the profound impact these organisations have on the lives of the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
Having left school at 16, Henry started out in business at a young age with his own sportswear company. He then went into the world of media production, before selling his stake in the business a few years later, ready to seek his next challenge. At 30, Henry became the youngest CEO in football with Forest Green Rovers, the world's greenest football club.
