Making Sense of the Metaverse

Friday 30 September 2022 │ 08:45-09:45 BST │ Webinar

The metaverse is arguably the greatest, certainly the most hype-fuelled disruptive trend since the launch of the internet itself. But how can you tell if it’s a passing fad or the next big thing?

Much of the early media interest in the metaverse has been driven by high-profile celebrity brand tie-ups that are arguably little more than marketing stunts. Eye-watering tech acquisitions by big names such as Meta, Microsoft and Apple have also grabbed the headlines, fuelling the hype. The fact that there is little consensus about what the metaverse actually is, alongside the evolving nature of the metaverse creates a perfect storm for business leaders trying to make sense of the metaverse.

Join us at our Making Sense of The Metaverse webinar to understand more about the metaverse and what it means to business and technology leaders. We’ll share the results of our first member survey on the metaverse and discuss the important implications of the findings for the wider community. This session will be a must-attend event for anyone exploring and evaluating use cases for the metaverse or considering their first steps into the metaverse.
