As Global Chief Security Officer of ByteDance & TikTok, Roland Cloutier brings an unprecedented understanding and knowledge of global protection and security leadership to one of the world's leading media, social, and technology companies. He oversees the company’s information protection, risk, workforce protection, crisis management, & investigative-security operations worldwide.
Prior to joining TikTok in 2020, Cloutier spent about 10 years as CSO at payroll-services firm ADP. Prior to ADP, he was CSO at data-storage vendor EMC (now owned by Dell). Cloutier started his career with over a decade of service to the US Air Force and US Depts. of Defense and Veterans Affairs. In 2015, he authored and published a business book “Becoming a Global Chief Security Executive Office”.

Sam Gillespie serves as a Data Governance Offering Manager for OneTrust. In his role, Sam advises companies throughout their Data Governance implementations to establish processes to support operations and align with their enterprise objectives, including gaining better knowledge and insight of their Data landscape, ensuring data meets compliance and policy requirements and enabling greater use of the data. Steve is an experienced Weapon Engineer Officer and major Project Leader in the Royal Navy with a background in operational engineering, capability management and acquisition programme leadership. During his career he has often found himself at the forefront of complex technical and organisational challenges. His sea-going career saw him deployed operationally across the world in HM Ships WESTMINSTER and SUTHERLAND; and most recently as the Commander (Weapon Engineer) in the aircraft carrier HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH. He is currently the Senior Responsible Owner for three of the Navy’s major equipment acquisition programmes. He is both a Naval Servicewomen's Network ally and Gender Advocate in Defence.

Rita joined Alipay in 2010 and was initially responsible for driving partnerships with major Chinese banks. In 2011, she became one of the founding members of the Alipay International Business department and has since held senior roles in business development and partnerships in Asia, the U.S and Europe. From 2015 to 2017, Rita was based in London while serving as Head of EMEA for Alipay, overseeing the company’s overall business in the region, including business development, operations and marketing activities. She was a leading member in the Alipay – UEFA global partnership, driving the firm’s new venture into sports as a platform for globalisation. She was also appointed as CEO of Alipay (UK), serving on the board of the company. Before joining Alipay, Rita was business development manager at American Express. Prior to Google, she worked in publishing and entertainment leading digital transformation for the Royal Opera House and the i newspaper, and was Director of Marketing and Audiences at the BBC, where she launched BBC3 and developed the BBC iPlayer. When not at work she spends time with her 3 daughters, new lockdown puppy and wistfully remembers when people went skiing.
Karla is the Innovation Lead for Connected Transport, part of the Land Transport Team in the Manufacturing, Materials and Mobility Sector at Innovate UK and Vice Chair of ITS(UK) as well as a council member on the Highways Sector Council. She is seeking solutions which use innovative technologies to leverage smarter, greener and more sustainable future mobility systems for the efficient movement of people and goods around the world. Karla focusses on working with all sectors to enable solutions to transport challenges. Prior to this she worked for 15 years for a large Japanese automotive company as a Design Quality Engineer after completing a BA Hons in Japanese Studies.
James recently finished a 2-year tenure as General Manager of the UK Consumer Business at Trainline post the successful 2019 IPO and is now focussing on investing in and working with consumer tech scale ups. He is currently Chief Operating Officer/Investor at YourParkingSpace (think AirbnB for parking spaces instead of rooms) and is also an investor/advisor to Wombat (easy investments app), and Jigsaw (dating marketplace app). Prior to Trainline he had leadership roles at the top table of fast growth tech companies - Amazon, eBay, EA Games, Betfair and Sky. Ricky is currently building the customer champion digital bank of the future, but has previously disrupted remittances with Azimo and Small World (the 6th largest remitter in the world), FX and Mobile Telecoms. Shane McArdle has significant experience in retail and consumer goods with a proven track record of leadership and operational expertise at businesses such as Gillette, Proctor and Gamble and most recently at Boots Ireland. Matt Williams is Head of EMEA for Telstra, based in London. He is responsible for developing and driving the business strategy for three divisions in Enterprise, Wholesale and Professional services across EMEA, and delivering upon the company’s financial goals.

Pedro is the Lead Data Scientist at Laing O’Rourke Plc. Throughout his career, Pedro has been building applications of AI to different industries, including healthcare, retail commerce, e-commerce, telecommunications and more recently construction and manufacturing. He is inspired by the value to be unlocked from large and small datasets, with a strong business focus. Previously, he led data teams at Vodafone Group where he launched several initiatives of data for social good, including a global COVID-19 analytics platform to help governments and NGOs respond to the pandemic. His main focus areas are business-driven data science, data and AI ethics, fairness and sustainability, as well as applied R&D and technology transfer.
