Digital Strategy: launch of the Nimbus Ninety Digital Benchmarking Practice

Nimbus Ninety is delighted to launch our new and cutting edge Digital Benchmarking Practice. At Nimbus Ninety we exist solely to help our community members along the way to digital success in their organisations and this is the next way we are here to help you!

The Nimbus Ninety Digital Benchmarking Practice is a new, community led programme of activities that will enable you to measure the progress of your digital initiatives and compare it with those of your peers.  Taken in conjunction with masterclasses and industry sector brainstorming sessions, you will have a unique platform to help you optimise the delivery and performance of your digital initiatives.

Throughout this year we will gather insights from hundreds of senior leaders, including members of our community, via our independent Nimbus Ninety Digital Progress Survey. The survey comprises of two parts and covers five competencies that we have identified as being key to digital success:

  • Part One
    • Section 1: Digital strategy and roadmap
    • Section 2: Internal digitisation and culture
  • Part Two
    • Section 1: Managing your data
    • Section 2: Digital customer insight, engagement and channels
    • Section 3: Digital product management

What will you get in return for completing this survey?

  • Access to a series of masterclasses, starting at IGNITE, focused on the key competencies covered in the Nimbus Ninety Digital Progress Survey. You will walk away with practical tips and guidelines which you can implement in your organisation.
  • Access to a knowledge hub on our website that will host content directly linked to the recommendations from the survey results and as a tool that you can use to advance your digital programmes

We will begin by releasing part one of the Nimbus Ninety Digital Progress Survey that focuses on:

  • Digital strategy and roadmap
  • Internal digitisation and culture

The results will be first shared with the participants of IGNITE on 12 and 13 May 2015.


After completing part one of the survey, you will be invited to participate in part two, which covers the three remaining competencies highlighted above. We will send you a friendly reminder with a link to part two a few days later.

The results of part two will be announced at a dedicated event at the end of the summer. We will also aggregate the results of part one and deliver a combined report at the event. To participate at the event, delegates will have to have completed both parts to gain the maximum value.

Together, these results will provide a comprehensive and insightful view of the progress of digital initiatives in the UK’s leading organisations.

The survey tool, the analysis of the results and the related masterclasses are only the first step in the development of our Digital Benchmarking Practice.
