Leading your Organisation's Business Transformation

Friday 20 October 2023 │  Chief Disruptor Breakfast Club │ 08:45-10.00 BST

Successful leaders understand that in times of uncertainty, organisations need to innovate and transform to maintain competitive advantage. However, most business leaders agree that business transformation is highly challenging, and that delivering successful transformations is in practice, very difficult to achieve.

These organisation-wide business transformations require strong and adaptive leadership skills, whilst also adapting to rapidly evolving technologies and external market threats. Increasingly leaders’ ability to inspire employees behind a common purpose will be key to success. A strong sense of purpose helps guide decision-making, shape organisational culture and drive employee engagement and satisfaction; ultimately, acting as the foundations for business transformation.

It is the role of visionary leaders to inspire trust through clear objectives and ethical values and standards that, importantly, translate into decision-making. Fostering an environment of trust and collaboration, in which failure is not only tolerated but encouraged, will be key to competitive advantage.
